School lunches
Mrs. Stott runs our school kitchen, along with Ms Watson. With many years' experience in schools' catering and full training in customer care between them, the team will ensure your child will have a nutritious meal each day, meeting all the national standards while providing an exciting menu based on pupil choices. Nine additional lunchtime staff at St Mary's will be ensuring that children are all eating their lunch appropriately; encouraging them to try new foods; and helping them to enjoy the experience!
Every day our children have the options of a hot meal, or a jacket potato with various different filling or paninis or a full Deli Bar selection.
Children in Reception, Year 1 & Year 2 receive their school lunch for FREE. No need for packed lunches for anyone.
Junior children can also choose to have a hot school meal at lunch time (£12.50 per week payable on a Monday via Scopay). Although juniors currently have to pay, there are many benefits. Meals are healthy and nutritious; great value; and convenient for you! Studies have also shown that children perform better in school following a nutritionally balanced and fresh, hot lunch. In addition, eating together at mealtimes is a social occasion for the children, and one which they enjoy.

We are pleased to announce that we run our own catering service and the menus are based on our pupils' favourite meals. Our aim is for all pupils to enjoy their food and leave the table full and satisified.
All food is prepared in our kitchen using fresh, local produce. There is a plentiful choice and variety to satisfy everyone's needs.
Menu choices are rotated on a three week basis.
All payments must be made using our online payment system. School meals must be paid for in advance.
