Notes for all applicants:

If you apply for a reception school place after 16th July 2025, your application will not be processed until school re-opens on 1st September 2025.

If you state on your application form that your child is a baptised Catholic, we have a statutory duty to confirm this information. We will write to you to ask you to provide a copy of your child's Catholic Baptismal Certificate. We may also contact the local parish churches to establish if baptism has taken place.  We need to verify your child's religion before the start of January each year. (for September 2025 Reception applications, evidence of Catholic baptism must be provided by 12 noon, 15th January 2025, as per our Admissions Policy.) We do stress that it is your responsibility to return a copy of the baptismal evidence by the date set, as this forms part of the school's published admission criteria.

A full Admission policy is available below or by following this link. Copies are also in the Local Authority 2025-26 information booklet.

Non-Catholic children are always most welcome to apply. Many of our pupils are not Catholic or of other faiths/no faiths. See our admissions criteria on the policy.

If you live in another Local Authority area (eg Wirral Borough Council area), you need to contact your own authority for an admission to our school, as each L.A. administers their own admissions. Details will be on each L.A. website.

Transfers between schools are available all year round. Simply apply here, to check for vacant places.
